So I’m about to share my absolute favorite go-to casual outfit as of recently. Now that the weather is starting to get warmer, at least in Atlanta, I’ve noticed people have been trading out their boots for lighter footwear such as slip-on sneakers. I have been looking for MONTHS for the perfect pair (I’m super picky when it comes to shoes) & praise the shoe gods I finally found them and have been living in them for the past few weeks. They are by far the most comfortable shoes I own besides my Asics running shoes. I kid you not. I’m also all about neutral colors as you can make those pieces appropriate for any season. The jeans I’m wearing are my all-time favorite. It feels like I’m wearing leggings and they keep their shape all throughout the day (I haaaaaate jeans that sag after a few hours of wear). Also- how great would this outfit be for traveling? Outfit details listed below.

I don’t know one girl that doesn’t love dry shampoo. Your hair could look like a hot mess from skipping a shower but with just a few sprays of a good quality dry shampoo your hair looks great and you feel like you’re ready to conquer the world. I’m pretty sure I lived off of dry shampoo and coffee during final exam week in college. I’ve tried & tested several different brands but these are my absolute favorites. read more
Alright- so if you haven’t figured out already I love using products that are natural/organic/chemical-free/etc. I am by no means a super hipster-granola person (not that there’s anything wrong if you are) I just prefer to know what ingredients are being absorbed into my body. I started looking into aluminum-free deodorants after having constant irritation and redness on my underarms. Aluminum is a chemical used in many antiperspirants to block sweat from coming out of your pores. In large amounts Aluminum can actually be harmful to the human body. I’m not a doctor and I’m not here to diagnose anybody but I just wanted to rid my beauty routine of deodorants that contain aluminum & other harsh chemicals just to see what would happen. Everyone’s body chemistry is different but these were the best ones that worked for me! read more
I cannot tell you how much I love testing out new skincare products. A few weeks ago I basically hit the lottery when it comes to skincare products and make-up which is why I need to do everyone a favor and let you all know about the Beauty Counter brand. It’s basically like a high-end cosmetics company and Whole Foods came together and had a baby. I say this because I was truly impressed with how transparent they are about their ingredients and what all goes in to their products. Did you all know that the FDA doesn’t require that cosmetics products/ingredients to be approved before they go on the market? Yikes. So every single ingredient that goes into any of their product is screened for safety which means they look for certain hazards in these ingredients such as hormone disruptions/toxicity/etc. This is one of the many reasons why I fell in love with this company. Their mission is to provide safer products that are readily available for everyone to purchase. You can click here to learn more regarding chemicals they have banned for their entire line. So, needless to say, I actually felt really good about using these products especially with my sensitive skin. After using BC I have noticed I’m a lot more careful about the choices I make when purchasing anything skincare or make-up related. I’m SO excited to also announce that I have been invited to be a rep for Beauty Counter! I have listed my all-time favorite skincare products below and am looking forward to trying out their make-up line ASAP! read more
